Values that guide aspa|Michael Toedter|consulting

Customer Orientation and Pragmatism

My way of conducting consulting projects is based on a coherent and consistent approach, taking into account interactive loops. A significant degree of attention is dedicated to achieve the objectives of the project without over stretching the personnel capacities of the client and without endangering the ongoing business operations. This requires a very close alignment with the client and a pragmatic attitude of all those involved.

Vision and Sustainability

A project can only be described as a success if the implementation finally leads to a lasting improvement of the business. In order to achieve this objective, the project goals ought to be ambitious but at the same time not overstretched. My knowledge of external requirements in numerous markets assists me to support my clients in the definition of appropriate objectives. Also important is the professional implementation of the project measures once these have been finalized. This aspect is quite obvious, however in reality it can turn out to be quite a challenge for an organization. For this reason I pay particular attention to this aspect from the very beginning of a project.

Credibility and Straightforwardness

Consultancy projects are per definition initiated in order to manage change. Throughout this change process a lot of argumentation and persuasion are required among all those affected. The success of a project depends to a large degree on the credibility of the individual consultant. Hence a credible and reliable approach with all stakeholders increases the success rate substantially. This includes also a high degree of straightforwardness and persistence when it comes to initiating unpopular, but success-critical measures at an early stage.
